How could the Wall Street Journal get this so wrong? There is nothing wrong with renting a second home and still financing it as a vacation property. You just need to occupy the property format least 14 days annually for personal use and don’t need rental income from the property to qualify for the loan. Not that bad at all.
About 80% of the properties I finance are second homes. Wish the press could get their facts straight.
